Latin America is one of the regions with the lowest reading index and Ecuador is among the lowest in the region.
Círculo 12 is a platform that will discover new literary talents through a win-win process.
In the first year, 12 writers who have not been published will be selected by means of a competition. They will receive a monthly salary ($ 800 each) for publishing a book of their authorship in the designated month (one book per author), the author who has to publish that month, will receive a bonus for publication of $ 3,400.00 (each one will receive this bonus the month they publish).

By receiving this incentive, writers will have the obligation to dictate creative writing workshops for a new batch of authors from which they will have to select the 12 new writers for the following year.
At the end of the annual process, each author will have received $ 13,000.00 between monthly payments and bonuses, they will have published a book (of which they will retain all rights) and will already have a public that knows their work, opening the doors to future publications.

The published books will have a circulation of 10,000 copies that will be distributed through national newspapers as a supplement to pay ($ 5.00 each) which will finance the budget for the following month.
